I have the answer! Follow my tutorial and make fabulous fabric gift bags!
Since the weather is getting colder, and the nights are drawing in, why not cosy up with a pile of pretty fabric and some ribbon and make up a selection of these bags. Not only are they fun to make, but they are pretty quick too, once you have made a couple, you’ll be churning them out… and just think of the conversation when you give your presents in these, telling your friends that you made them! … and the best thing…. they can be used over and over again! just think of the journey your bags will go on as they are used again and again!
The Pattern
The pattern is very simple to make, I have shown the dimensions I have used based on a standard bottle of wine (or Prosecco!). This sizing will fit most standard bottles.
Top Tips
You can easily adjust the sizing for your gifts, if in doubt, make up the lining first, check that your item fits in the lining and at this point, you can also work out where your drawstring channels need to be.
